CAREER OVERVIEW

Throughout his career Brad’s practice has largely focused on resolving design, payment, scheduling, land use, and other construction related disputes on both public and private projects. Brad also works with clients to prevent and mitigate disputes through pre-litigation consultation and through the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, design-build agreements, subcontracts, and other project related agreements. In addition, he advises clients on insurance and bonding matters, regulatory compliance issues, and payment and lien related matters. Brad’s experience includes resolving construction disputes through non-formal negotiations, mediations, arbitration, jury trial, and appeal.

Coming from a family of developers and contractors, Brad grew up in and around the construction industry. Fittingly, after graduating from law school, Brad joined an Atlanta area construction law firm and has continued practicing in this field throughout his career. While his career has mainly focused on litigation and dispute resolution, Brad incorporates his education and experience in finance by focusing on efficiently achieving resolutions that directly benefit the clients’ bottom-lines.

Brad earned his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law. While attending law school, he interned for the Honorable James E. Graham, Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Georgia. Prior to entering law school, he attended Georgia Southern University where he majored in finance and received his Bachelors of Business Administration, magna cum laude.
