CAREER OVERVIEW
Kristi started her legal practice in business litigation transitioning to construction litigation shortly after graduating from law school. She has worked on numerous domestic and international arbitrations, representing large and small contractors in disputes involving, power plants, alternative energy, office complexes and manufacturing facilities.
Kristi has always taken a business minded approach and shifted her practice to a primarily business advisory role, working closely with boards of directors across various industries to guide company decisions and to mitigate risk. She also worked closely with local governments and NGO´s providing oversight and guidance for infrastructure and development programs. Utilizing this practical approach to disputes, Kristi became a certified mediator helping parties to resolve issues in a cost-effective manner.
In addition to her experience in the United States, Kristi has extensive international experience, she lived and practiced in South Africa and worked on projects in Africa and Europe.
Kristi earned her law degree from New York University School of Law and prior to entering law school, she earned her Bachelor´s degree in economics and finance at the University of Texas at Dallas, Magna Cum Laude.
